Karin Slaughter was born on 6th of January 1971. She is an American crime writer. Slaughter is an author of 18 novels, has sold over 35 million copies and published in 37 languages. Her first novel, Blind Vision (2001), was published in 27 languages ​​and was shortlisted for the “Best Adventure Start” by the Dagger Awards of the Criminal Writers’ Association in 2001. She is also the winner of 2015 CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for the “Cop Town” novel. Her novel ”Pieces of Her” was published in 2018. That novel has been adapted into a television series of the same name and released on Netflix.
